Show Lisbon as a vibrant, creative city to an international audience around Web Summit. The film needed to make the city feel alive and open to possibility.

I built the concept around people and the energy they bring to the city. The treatment proposed a nonlinear blend of movement, performance, documentary texture and cinematic imagery, with sound and editing carrying the rhythm.

The idea was to make Lisbon feel like a place where someone could begin something of their own.

I developed the concept and creative direction, won the competitive pitch, and carried the work through casting, production and film direction. I then supervised post-production to preserve the idea through editing, sound and delivery.

The film was created for the 2018 Web Summit opening and selected again for the 2019 edition. It brought a single creative idea through a large public-facing production.

The film’s original soundtrack received Silver at Clube Criativos Portugal in 2019. The award was credited to Núcleo Audio, recognising the soundtrack contribution to the work.
